We are just finishing three guesthouses with three double rooms each and one has an additional dormitory. They will offer relatively comfortable accommodation for short or long-term visitors. Until these new houses open, we will continue to welcome guests at the main house.
We offer tours of the farm during which we explain our philosophy of integral agriculture. We think and try to work in cycles. For example, the wood shavings from our sawmill become the beds of the animals and after a week or two go to the worm farm (along with our compost) where they become organic fertiliser after the worms have worked on them for two months. And then, the fertiliser goes to the green house and the plantation to help the vegetables and forage and the trees grow. Short- and long-term interns are welcome on our farm, as we think it is important to offer such an experience to young (and older) people.
Our workers can also profit from the interns’ experience and from working with foreigners. Not one of them speaks a work of English, so it is an excellent opportunity to practice your Spanish.
